First of all, introductions. I'm Imogen, I'm nineteen years old, in my second year of university and in September 2010 I moved to South London. I'll be honest, I wasn't too keen on the idea. I'd lived north of the river for the previous year and was used to having central London (where I thought all the good places were) more or less, on my door step. All of my favourite things to do were north of the Thames and I wasn't too excited to be moving somewhere where it would take me more than 20 minutes to get to Oxford Street, Portobello Market, Camden and Brick Lane, all of my favourite places.

But now, nearly five months later, I can safely say that I'm a convert to South London. This blog is my attempt to tell people about the great places to go in London that are south of the river and which are just as fun as places everywhere else in the city!
